Crayons4Kids is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to brightening the lives of hospitalized children across America. We are so excited that you have chosen to explore our website, and we hope that you will help us achieve our mission.
Crayons4Kids was founded by Matt and Emily Leinwand in September of 2001 when they were just 5 and 6 years old. It all started with a simple idea to collect crayons and coloring books and pass them out to hospitalized children.
Since then, Crayons4Kids has delivered to hospitals in all 50 states.
Over the years, we have collected over:
439,256 new crayons
30,969 new coloring books
23,496 new games and toys
1,821 new baby rattles, and
1,713 DVD's.

This year, we collected about:
$7925
38,000 crayons
700 coloring books
and filled about 65 boxes with toys!!!
We have recieved a long "Wishlist" from the Child Life Department, the NICU, and the Music Therapy Department at Bronson Children's Hospital. Drumroll please......... With all the donations we received, we were able to purchase
EVERY SINGLE ITEM
on those wishlists. Thank you so much to everyone. The children in the hospital will be so much happier this holiday season and ALL YEAR LONG!
